If you have never been on one of Royal Caribbean's "mega" ships, all I can say is, what are you waiting for? I just returned home today from my second annual Bahama Mama cruise and it was a blast. What can be more fun than a group of women, a beautiful ship, tons of activities, great food, a wonderful spa and fitness center (or so I was told) and a spacious veranda cabin? The only thing that would have made it better would have been a little more luck in the casino.
This ship is huge and may be overwhelming for some, but I don't think you can beat it for groups and for families. There is something for everyone: rock climbing, ice skating, casino, spa, movie theater, bingo, scrap booking classes, trivia games, miniature golf, in-line skating, basketball, disco, lounges, comedians, Broadway-style shows and so much more. And of course you can always find a spot somewhere just to sit and read a book or watch the sun set.
The main reason it may not be for everyone is its size and it's noise factor. I was on a four-day cruise to Cozumel and those can be crazy since people are trying to fit everything in a short period of time. So at times it felt wild and crowded, but most of the time it was just right. I loved it and it helped that I shared this experience with a great group of women. I highly recommend this ship.

Viva Las Vegas!!!!
My husband and I were in Las Vegas for a week. It was a mixture of business and pleasure and lots of fun and excitement. What a city! There is always something going on and so much to do, even if you are not a gambler. There was a professional fight coming to town and the National rodeo finals were taking place at the end of our week. Boxing, cowboys, Christmas displays, shows, museums, music, art, tons of shopping -- there is definately something for everyone. And if for some reason you find yourself bored (impossible for me to imagine) you can always venture out to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam or Death Valley.
I was fortunate to be able to tour several of the big hotels and gathered so much information. I would love to share some of it with you. Feel free to contact me at Sue@Uniquetravelplanners.com.
If I don't get back to you right away, it's because I'm going on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas tomorrow -- I just can't stop travelling.

Welcome to my new travel blog....
I recently returned from a travel show and what a great experience it was. I went to a couple of seminars about marketing our travel business and every time someone asked if anyone had a blog, no one raised their hands. So here I am, with my first blog entry.
I am calling this "Travel Tips From Sue" because I am an experienced traveler, personally, and for the past six years I have been a home based travel agent -- the "real" kind, not one of the mlm's. I love to travel, I love to talk about it and I love to help people find the right trip for them.
My first travel tip: Travel Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get to know the world you live in.
If you need help, contact me at sue@uniquetravelplanners.com.
